Totem

This art was created for a class project, the goal was to create a ablum cover of a song or recreate a album cover of a band. I chose to make a album cover for a song “Look Through My Eyes” by Phil Colins, for the movie “Brother Bear”. I was inspired by one of my favorite bands, Mumford and Sons. My idea for the cover came from the movie itself, the movie is about following your totem, that is where I got the title of the album. I chose to use an elk, wolf, fox, and bear for the totem animals, they are popular animal spirit guides. The animals don’t have eyes to echo the song. The title was handlettered and meant to look like claw marks.
