Knives out Intro sequence

This is an introductory credits sequence inspired by Knives Out and the distinctive visual language of Saul Bass. I focused on bold shapes, rhythm, and simplicity, allowing the music to guide the pacing and movement. A limited color palette and symbolic imagery echo the film’s tone and mystery​​​​​​​.

While coming up with this motion graphic I knew I wanted to highlight the many clues and symbols that were used in the movie. I ended sitting down and rewatching it. taking the time to jot down each prominent symbol I wanted to try including.

Then I worked out the progresstion and trasitions between each symbol through my thumnail sketches.
