HEY THERE!

Here’s a little about me and my journey so far.

My name is Kristina Zenga and I am a graphic designer from Easton, Pennsylvania. I hold a lot of pride and admiration for my hometown. Easton will always be a part of me in whatever I do. I spent my first two years in college at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. Wanting to be more academically challenged, I transferred to Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. I am currently obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. Art has always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. So when it came time to decide what I was going to do as my career, I realized that graphic design was the perfect fit for me.

I really enjoy studio arts such as drawing, painting, printmaking, and photography, and I often incorporate these elements into my design pieces. I often draw realistically and use either a regular pencil, charcoal, or colored pencils. I have only really painted with acrylics, but am eager to learn the ways of oil and gouache! I have basic skills in printmaking and have enjoyed my short time with the art. I also do not know too much about photography, but I am very excited to learn more! I love focusing my work on controversial yet important topics such as feminism and global warming. Subjects I am passionate about bring out my best work!

Entering college, I was insecure and sometimes unsure about my artwork. I found myself constantly questioning, “Am I good enough?” From the help of my peers and encouraging professors, I gained a lot more confidence after my first two years at Mansfield University. I still struggle with it sometimes, but I am proud of myself for how far I have come in conquering personal obstacles throughout my art journey.
